I started working with George at Phase Fitness in January 2026 and am currently 3-4 weeks into a 12 week programme. If I’m honest, signing up to Phase was a fairly impulsive New Year health-kick decision while searching slightly desperately for a way to get healthier and stronger. It hasn’t taken long for me to realise it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I’ve spent years paying for unused gym memberships, dealing with wildly fluctuating weight and feeling a profound sense of unhappiness with how my body looks and feels. After working with George for just a few weeks I have made training a habit, learned how to fuel myself in a healthy and manageable way and am beginning to see and feel the difference in my body. From day one, George has been unbelievably supportive and helpful to me. I could tell from our first consultation meeting that he was genuinely interested in why I wanted to do this. This interest and passion for what he does means he works in a way that feels aligned to my personal goals as opposed to feeling like a generic or impersonal off-the-shelf package. The workouts themselves are varied, intense and enjoyable. I feel like I have already learned so much about how to approach strength training even though it’s only been a few weeks. The small group sizes for each session means that George can keep a close eye on everyone and offer really helpful tips for technique and process frequently throughout. The support with nutrition and accountability is also incredibly helpful and really it is the whole package of what Phase offers that makes it work so well. My decision to work with George and Phase was basically me choosing to make an investment in myself that will help me be strong and healthy for the rest of my life. Having tried and failed to make changes like this by myself or via gym memberships and playing 5-a-side I had started to wonder if I’d ever actually find something that worked. I wanted something that would make me feel like consistent strength training and clean, well-structured nutrition was something I’d stick with and that I could make part of my life in the long term. That is exactly what Phase is giving me and it is making an incredible difference to both my physical and mental health. Nothing else I've ever tried when it comes to health, fitness and training has had this kind of positive impact. To be honest, I’m not really the kind of person who writes reviews very often but the impact Phase Fitness is having for me absolutely deserves a glowing review because I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience so far.

I have been training with George for just over a year now. George is so supportive of helping and guiding me to achieve my goals. I was nervous when I first started but George was so welcoming and how he explains exercises, and helps with correcting form where needed has helped me grow in confidence. Being kept accountable through regular check ins has helped keep me focused on how to achieve my goals. Training in small groups is great and everyone is so friendly. It becomes a supportive group of friends who all celebrate each other achievements. I have lost 11kg in weight (dropped a dress size) and feel confident in myself again. Seeing progress in my strength and fitness and what I have achieved is such a good feeling.

I joined Phase on the 8 week transformation camp in May 2025. Having always struggled to stick to any sort of diet, I was pleasantly surprised with how I adapted my nutrition, lost weight and managed to maintain changes. I am now much more mindful of what I eat whilst still finding room for balance and enjoyment. George’s advice and the resources he’s provided have been so helpful to make the changes I needed to! The sessions are challenging but there is a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the gym, the group makes the sessions enjoyable and George is always attentive to form and making sure I am pushing myself. When I think back to where I started I have gained a lot of strength and confidence as well as improving my overall fitness, I have stayed with George beyond the 8 week camp as I enjoy being part of the community and continuously working on getting stronger! The group is so supportive in helping each other achieving goals, if you’re looking to join a close knit gym with amazing trainers and facilities then I highly recommend Phase Fitness!

My experience with Phase fit has been fantastic! In just two weeks, they have completely transformed my approach to strength training. My trainer George listened to my goals and have created a plan that's not only challenging but also perfectly tailored to my needs. I'm already seeing progress and feeling stronger. I love how they focus on proper form and technique, which has made me feel much more confident and safe during my workouts. The sessions are always engaging and I leave the gym feeling accomplished and motivated for the next one. I'm excited to see where we can go from here. Highly recommend!

Can’t speak highly enough of George and the team at phase fitness, I did pt small sessions with George for 2 years and by the end was in great shape and felt more confident in my body then ever before. Great team vibes and social events too and George is amazing. 😁

My experience with phase fitness has been amazing. I came to George for a little help, wanted to know how to loose half a stone and more if possible. Well as promised I could see the difference in the first week! Yes! It was done with changing my diet and workouts which really worked with my body strength. I feel alot stronger and active. My 28 days journey with phase fitness is coming to an end, but I will be taking a lot me, I will continue to maintain my body and strength now that I know how. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to know how to make changes and how to build up strength. Absolutely fantastic experience.

I have been coming to Phase and benefitting from George’s coaching for around 6 months and I couldn’t speak about it any higher! It is 100% the most consistent I have been with a health and fitness routine and I have feel loads stronger and seen a lot of progression in this time. I have been training with George @ Phase Fitness since June and the gym, atmosphere & community has reignited my love for fitness! I was in a-bit of a fitness rut before joining, but now I don’t think twice about going to the gym, it is super enjoyable. The small group sessions are always different, all the members are so motivating and there is a great sense of community. George is constantly perfecting our technique and providing injury adaptations. I have been a member at phase fitness for a couple of years now on my fitness and weight lost journey. I highly recommend George, he's really supportive and the gym is an amazing friendly clean space, not intimidating at all. Since joining not only has it helped with any aches and pains I was having, I feel so much stronger, it improved my lifestyle and my mental health. Going to the gym is now part of my everyday life. Iv met lots of like minded people, who i run and socialise with outside of the gym. George fitness app is brilliant it keeps me accountable and on track for my nutrition and I love how it give you flexibility to book or change your sessions. Overall I just feel so much happier and healthier and im really glad I overcame the nerves and joined up to George classes.

Just finished an 8-week body transformation at Phase Fitness and honestly, I'm really impressed. My body has changed a lot more than I expected and I'm very happy with the results. The coaches are brilliant, everyone's friendly, and it's just a wonderful place to train. If you're thinking about it, definitely give it a go!

Started my health and well being journey with Phase fitness. After my 6 week programme I feel fitter and healthier. George has been a great inspiration. As an older women, he has been supportive and understanding, adjusting exercises to help me. The sessions are fun and my journey continues.
